Ardent Knives Kestrel

The Kestrel is Ardent’s all-purpose knife and has been designed to be compact and light, yet be a perfect size for most chores. It is an extremely versitle knife that has been heralded by bushcrafters, hunters, backpackers and the tactical crowd.

Most Kestrels are made from American made Carpenter CTS-XHP Stainless tool steel to give the ultimate in edge retention, durability and corrosion resistance. The Kestrel features a full flat grind for outstanding strength and cutting performance. Blade length is 4.5 inches and overall length is 9.5 inches. Handle material options vary from textured canvas Micarta to polished carbon fiber. Occasionally a special run with high end natural materials like stag or exotic hardwoods is produced.

Kestrels come standard with a hand formed Kydex sheath. All Ardent Knives tools utilize industry standard 1.5 inch hole spacing so that the owner can use any industry standard mounting device they choose.
